Luk 23:27. Ἐκόπτοντο, bewailed) either jointly under the emotion of the one common feeling, or even under the influence of peculiar affection. Κόπτεσθαι properly applies to the gestures:[256] θρηνεῖν refers to the lamentation, and weeping tone of voice.
