Luk 24:7. Τὸν Υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, the Son of man) This is repeated from the discourses which were delivered by the Lord before His passion. But the Lord Himself did not give Himself the appellation, Son of man, after His resurrection, but either spake in the first person, or else employed the express appellation, Christ.-ἁμαρτωλῶν, of sinful men) viz. the Gentiles.
