Mat 9:18. [420] Lachm. with BCDabcd Vulg. Hil. reads εἷς, and with BLUabc Vulg. (‘accessit’) προσελθών. Tischend. has εἰσελθών; Beng and Griesb. εἷς ἐλθών. Both these last two readings are equally tenable, as the letters are not separated in different words in MSS.: CDXΔ support either reading. Matth. often uses εἷς as אֶהָד = τις; ch. Mat 8:19, Mat 19:6.-ED.
