Commissioned, endowed, preserved
Like the first creation, the new is a gradual process, advancing from age to age.
I. IN THIS WORK GOD EMPLOYS HIS SERVANTS. When it is said, “That I may plant,” etc., it is obvious that it is through Israel the work is to be 1Co_3:9).
II. FOR THIS WORK GOD ARMS HIS SERVANTS. “I have put My words in thy mouth.”
