With a sling and with a stone,] Unlikely means to prostrate such a bulk. So Shamgar with an oxgoad, and Samson with the jaw bone of an ass, made great slaughters. So Christ by his cross destroyed the devil, yea, by death he foiled him that had the power of death, {Heb_2:14} as David cut off Goliath’s head with his own sword.
