1Sa_2:32 And thou shalt see an enemy [in my] habitation, in all [the wealth] which [God] shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.
Ver. 32. And thou shalt see an enemy,] i.e., A rival, another high priest, viz., Zadok, set up by Solomon. {1Ki_1:26-27} "Thou shalt see it"; i.e., thy posterity shall, to their grief and regret:
In all the wealth.] In the time of Solomon’s most flourishing reign, the most gallant of that kingdom.
