1Sa_20:41 [And] as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of [a place] toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.

Ver. 41. David arose out of a place.] When now they saw the coast was clear, these two famous friends met and melted one over another.

] Aãáèïé ä áñéäáêñõåò áíäñåò -

Et faciles motus mens generosa capit.



The better any one is, the more apt to weep. But David indeed had the greater reason in many regards.
