12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:



Ver. 12. To increase and abound] By doubling his word, he signifieth a double portion of God’s, grace, which he wisheth unto them; we are sure to receive as much good from God by prayer as we can bring faith to bear away.
