2Ch_30:17 For [there were] many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one [that was] not clean, to sanctify [them] unto the LORD.
Ver. 17. The charge of the killing of the passovers.] That is, Not only of the paschal lamb, but of the passover offerings, {2Ch_35:7-8} called here passovers.
