2Ch_33:3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
Ver. 3. For he built again.] Heb., He returned, and built. He returned, but not to God. Whilst his father lived, he seemed to hate the high places; but now he changed his mind, but for the worse: profecit in peius. See 2Ki_21:3.
He worshipped all the host of heaven.] So do those, after a sort, that attribute to the stars more than is meet.
