31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.



Ver. 31. Which is blessed for ever] And therefore to be blessed, as he that is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a praise that he much stands upon, Rom_15:6. And surely if all generations shall call the Virgin blessed, for that she was the mother of Christ, Luk_1:48, how much more, &c.
