23 Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.

The glory of Christ] So the Church is called "the glory," Isa_4:5; God’s glory, Isa_46:13; a crown of glory, and a royal diadem in the hand of Jehovah, Isa_62:3; the throne of God, Exo_17:16; {margin}; the throne of glory, Jer_14:21; the ornament of God, yea, the beauty of his ornament, set in majesty, Eze_7:20. There is not so much of the glory of God (saith one) in all his works of creation and providence, as in one gracious action that a Christian performs.
