43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.



Ver. 43. Shall receive remission of sins] Together with all the purchase of his passion. But this is instanced as a principal piece thereof, and worthily. David had a crown of pure gold upon his head, Psa_21:3, but he blesseth God for a better crown, Psa_103:3-4, viz. pardon of sin.
