30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.



Ver. 30. Which also they did] Nos non eloquimur magna, sed vivimus, said the primitive Christians. This age aboundeth with mouth mercy (Go, and be fed, warmed, &c., Jam_2:14-26), which is good cheap. But a little handful were better than a great many such mouthfuls.



By the hands of Barnabas and Saul] Paul prays hard that this their service might be accepted by the saints, Rom_15:31, though one would think they should be very welcome, coming on such an errand.
