32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,



Ver. 32. And we declare unto you glad tidings] Even the sum of all the good news in the world, and that which should swallow up all discontents. The old Church had åðáããåëéáí , the promise only; but we now have åõáããåëéáí , the joyful tidings, good news from heaven.
