23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:



Ver. 23. And by wicked hands, &c.] Facinus vincire civem Romanum, It is a crime to bind a Roman citizen, saith the orator.
