31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.



Ver. 31. Ye cannot be saved] God must be trusted, but not tempted, by wilful neglect of due means. He is not tied to them, but yet doth usually work by them. {See Trapp on "Mat_4:4"}
