31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.



Ver. 31. The place was shaken] So God testifieth to his Church that he shook them, as men do young trees, to settle them, Hag_2:7. God shaketh all nations, not to ruin, but to refine them; as by rotting he refineth our dead bodies, Php_3:21.
