26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.



Ver. 26. Which is desert] Which way is desert, that is, less frequented, because uphill and downhill. So is the way to heaven, and therefore little travelled.
