20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.



Ver. 20. To reconcile all things] That is, all the saints, who are worth all, better than all, more worth than a world of wicked men, Heb_11:38. The Jews have a saying, that those seventy souls that went with Jacob into Egypt, were as much as all the seventy nations in the world.
