Ver. 9. What profit hath he that worketh? &c.] i.e., How can any man, by any means he can use, help or hinder this volubility and vanity that he meets with in every creature? Cui bono? What profit? {See Trapp on "Ecc_1:3"} whereunto this verse relateth, as being a conclusion of the principal argument.
