This Chapter Verse Commentaries:

Exo_14:29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry [land] in the midst of the sea; and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

Ver. 29. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land.] This is applied as a type of Christ, {1Co_10:2} to show that Christ is present with his people, to save them in all troubles and afflictions, {Isa_43:2} and from all their spiritual enemies and sins, both by justification and sanctification, {Mic_7:19} through faith in him, {Heb_11:29} and will in the end give them songs of victory and triumph. {Exo_15:1-27 : 1Ki_15:3}
