Gen_24:19 And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw [water] for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.
Ver. 19. I will draw water for thy camels also.] This was, in everything, according to his desire. {Gen_24:14} God sometimes fitteth his mercy, ad cardinem desiderii, letteth it be to his servants even as they will. As, at other times, he answereth their prayers, non secundum voluntatem, tamen ad utilitatem, not as they wish, but as is best for them. {a}
