Gen_25:23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations [are] in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and [the one] people shall be stronger than [the other] people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
Ver. 23. And the Lord said unto her.] Either by an angel, or a prophet, or some divine answer in her own heart.
Two nations are in thy womb.] So, what can a man "see in the Shulamite," in every sanctified soul, but "as it were the company of two armies"? {Son_6:13} Every good man is a divided man; every new man, two men.
