Gen_27:31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.

Ver. 31. And he also had made savoury meat.] Esau’s works here are better than Jacob’s. Election is not of works, but of grace. {Rom_9:11} Quis te discernit? saith the apostle. {1Co_4:7} Grevinchovius, the Arminian, saucily answers, Ego meipsum dicerno.
