Gen_29:14 And Laban said to him, Surely thou [art] my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month.

Ver. 14. Surely thou art my bone, &c.] Good words cost nothing; and the veriest countrymen are commonly freer of them than of real courtesies. Pertinax the emperor was surnamed Cñçóôïëïãïò , quid blandus esset, magis quam benignus .
