Gen_9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

] One hour’s drunkenness bewrays that which more than six hundred years’ sobriety had modestly concealed. Well might Solomon say, "Wine is a mocker"; {Pro_20:1} for it mocked Noah with a witness; and exposed him to the mockage of his own bosom-bird.
