19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.



Ver. 19. That God was able] He founded his faith upon God’s fidelity and omnipotency. These are the Jachin and the Boaz, the two main pillars whereupon faith resteth.
