10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.



Ver. 10. For God is not unrighteous] That is, unfaithful, 1Jn_1:9. There is a justice of fidelity as well as of equity.



To forget your work.] The butler may forget Joseph, and Joseph forget his father’s house; but forgetfulness befalls not God, to whom all things are present, and before whom there is written a book of remembrance for them that fear the Lord, and think upon his name, Mal_3:16-17.
