Isa_13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in [their] pleasant palaces: and her time [is] near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
Ver. 22. And the wild beasts of the islands.] Heb., Ijim - i.e., desolate places and far remote.
And her time is near to come.] Though two hundred years hence and more ere it commence. So "Babylon is fallen, is fallen" {Rev_19:2} that is, certo, cito, penitus - surely, shortly, utterly.
