13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:



Ver. 13. We will go into such, &c.] As if they were petty gods within themselves, and needed not to call God into counsel, or to take his leave along with them.
