4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.



Ver. 4. Kept back by fraud crieth] Bloodshed, Gen_4:10, unnatural lust, Gen_18:21, and oppression (whether by force or fraud), cry to God, and he will hear, for "he is gracious," Exo_22:27. Oppression is a bony sin, Amo_5:12-13.
