Jer_1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I [am] with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Be not afraid of their faces.] Look they never so big, as did Henry VIII upon Latimer and upon Lambert, who yet told him his own; as did Stephen Gardiner upon Dr Taylor, martyr, but had as good as he brought. {a} The majesty of a man, as also his wrath, showeth itself in his countenance; and young men especially are apt to be baffled and dashed with fierce looks.
