This Chapter Verse Commentaries:

Jer_2:29 Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.

Ver. 29. Wherefore will ye plead with me?] Putting me to my proofs. Is not the case clear enough? Will ye not yield to reason? See on Jer_2:19.

Ye all have transgressed against me.] And yet ye have the face to ask, as in Jer_16:10, "What is our iniquity, or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord?" And to say, as in Hos_12:8, "In all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me: that were sin." See there.
