Jer_49:21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
Ver. 21. In the Red Sea,] i.e., A long way off; yet not so far as the doting Talmudists say the serpent’s cry was heard (when the angels came down and cut off his legs, according to that doom passed on him, Gen_3:14), viz., all the world over.
