Jer_49:39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, [that] I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.
Ver. 39. I will bring again the captivity of Elam.] Principally by bringing them to Jesus Christ. And so we read {Act_2:9} of Parthians, Medes, and Elamites among those first and best believers. Eusebius {a} also telleth us that in the Council of Nice there was a bishop from Persia; and Theodoret, a very good man, in addition a great writer, served the churches of the Elamites. {b}
