Jer_6:12 And their houses shall be turned unto others, [with their] fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
Ver. 12. With their fields and wives together.] These are mentioned as most dear to them; who could haply say as he did -
“ Haec alii capiant; liceat mihi paupere cultu
Secure chara coniuge posse frui. ”
