Job_32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; [in so doing] my maker would soon take me away.
Ver. 22. For I know not to give, &c.] I have as little art in it (it is out of my road) as heart to it. For,
In so doing my maker should take me away] i.e. Kill me and send me packing to hell. He would soon snatch me away; he would burn me, as some render it; so dangerous is the sin of flattery.
