Job_6:23 Or, Deliver me from the enemy’s hand? or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty?
Ver. 23. Or, Deliver me from the enemy’s hand? &c.] Rescue me, ransom me from those that have robbed and wronged me; fetch back my lost goods by price or force. The word rendered mighty signifieth also formidable, terrible, breach makers. The word is opened by St Paul, Php_1:28; where he useth a metaphor from horses snorting ( ðôõñïìåíïé ) and starting when frighted.
