Ver. 14. Then said Jesus unto them plainly] Because they understood him not. Ministers must be "gentle to all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing the ignorant," yea, the insolent, 2Ti_2:24-25. Augustine confesseth he was glad to use some words, sometimes, to his hearers that were not Latin, to the end that they might understand him.
