Thus he was peccatorum maximus, greatest of sinners, both by imputation, for he bore our sins, which were all made to meet upon him, Isa_53:6, and by reputation, for he was "numbered with the transgressors," Isa_53:12, and made "his grave with the wicked," Isa_53:9.
