49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.



Ver. 49. Sir, come down] He fumes not at reproof (as many great ones would have done, Tange montes, et fumigabunt), but "suffers the word of exhortation," Heb_13:22, being subdued thereunto by affliction.
