54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.



Ver. 54. Whoso eateth my flesh] Because this was a hard point to believe, therefore it is so often repeated and inculcated. Verba toties inculcata viva sunt, vera sunt, sana sunt, plana sunt.
