23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?



Ver. 23. That the law of Moses should not be broken] Gr. loosened, shattered. The law is one entire copulative; so that he that offendeth in any point is guilty of all, Jam_2:10. Hence when the sabbath was broken, the Lord said to Moses, "How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?" Exo_16:28.
