Jdg_2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, [that] they returned, and corrupted [themselves] more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

Nor from their stubborn way.] Heb., Hard, rough way; such are all the ways of wickedness: whereas God’s ways are plain and pleasant. {Pro_3:17; Pro_3:23} Christ’s yoke is easy, and his burden light. {Mat_11:29}
