Lev_13:9 When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;
Ver. 9. He shall be brought unto the priest.] Who was to discern it by the law of leprosy: so must we find out our sins by the moral law. {Rom_3:20; Rom_7:7} "The works of the flesh are manifest." {Gal_5:19} Neither need we half so much caution or curiosity to be persuaded of our spiritual leprosy, which is too apparent: only those many ceremonies, as one well noteth, may put us in mind how much more exquisite our diligence ought to be in finding and ferreting out our special sins.
