17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.



Ver. 17. For all the glorious things] Which yet his adversaries sought to deprave and denigrate, as if done by I know not what superstitious abuse of the name Jehovah.
