17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!



Ver. 17. And when he came to himself] For till then he had been beside himself, and not his own worthy. Nebulo rascal (saith one) cometh of Nabal; fool of öáõëïò: áíïéá et áíïìéá are of near affinity. Evil is Hebrew for a fool, &c. Wickedness is called the "foolishness of madness," Ecc_7:25.
