Ver. 30. For mine eyes have seen, &c.] A great satisfaction. So it was to Job, Job_42:5, when he could say, "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee." What shall it be to us when we shall see God face to face, &c., 1Co_13:12. Colamus hic Deum reverenter donec a spe ad speciem transeamus. Worship we God with reverence till we come to see him face to face. Bucholcer.
