52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Ver. 52. Increased in wisdom] Being ðáéäáñéïãåñùí , as Macarius was called, while a child, for his extraordinary grace and gravity. The exercise of his wisdom, as it was more enlarged, became more lovely in the sight of God and man.
